Covid Response
COVID-19 Emergency Plan:
To protect your (and our) health and safety, we have adapted our service to include the below considerations, based on industry guidelines and CPUC Resolution TL-19131 adopted in August 2020. As always, any special requests will be accommodated to the best of our ability.
Driver will check their temperature daily and will not drive if temperature is high or experiencing any other symptoms of COVID-19. In the case that a ride cannot be performed due to this, a good faith effort will be made to provide alternate transportation for the passenger.
Driver will also adhere to social distancing protocols at all time while off-the-clock and make every effort to avoid exposure to COVID-19
Driver will wear a face mask at all times during the ride
All passengers must wear a face mask, individually sealed disposable masks will be provided to any passengers who need them. Passengers are requested to sit in the rear seats.
Per CPDH guidance, drivers and passengers can cancel the ride without penalty if the other party is not wearing a face mask.
Passenger compartment will be thoroughly wiped down with alcohol-based disinfecting wipes prior to each new passenger, including seats, door panels, door handles, armrests, seatbelts, charging cables, grab handles, control panels, and air vents
Roof vents (and rear window vents in SUV) will be kept open at all times unless passenger prefers them closed. HVAC recirculation mode will not be used. Passengers may request any windows to be lowered during any portion of the ride.
Driver will use a fresh pair of disposable gloves each time when handling any luggage, and will open and close the trunk. Passengers may request to load and unload their own luggage. Driver and passengers should keep 6 feet social distancing whenever possible.
Hand sanitizer gel and spray will be readily available for passenger and driver use inside the vehicle, including a availability of a complimentary travel-sized bottle of sanitizer for passengers to take with them
Snack basket service is temporarily suspended. Upon request, or for passengers traveling multiple times a month, a sealed and personally labeled snack selection will be provided for each passenger consisting of items that have not be offered to any other passengers
Magazine service is temporarily suspended (WSJ may be available for first ride of the day)
Any other measures can be taken upon request!
